Cats in Toledo

Another back blip, I'm afraid,  but at least the subject is cats - a subject that always seems popular in blipworld  The main picture is of what I think now may have been embroidered images of cats - rather than drawings, as I originally assumed - dressed in medieval costume. They are accompanied by two dogs, one depicted as a king and the other as a knight. I should have stopped to investigate further but we were walking up through the streets of Toledo at the time to visit the cathedral. The extra is of some real Toledo cats enjoying the shade alongside the path that leads from one of the pedestrian gateways into the city.
