On the Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond
It was a beautiful still morning at RSPB Loch Lomond and we had a lovely peaceful walk across the reserve to the loch and back. Not many birds about at the moment, a few robins in the trees and great tits on the feeders. The best sighting we had was of a flock of linnets (identified by the Merlin app), flying at top speed overhead. There is a photo of them as an extra which was taken on my camera with 300mm lens but it’s not close enough to see any features.
