Pretty Flamingo

Stopped off at Slimbridge WWT reserve on the way to Devon to see my folks. It was my first visit and a bit rushed. It deserved more than the 90 mins I could spare but seemed like a very well organised reserve. Surprised to see so many non-indiginous birds there. It's a bit like a bird zoo really. Lots of flamingoes and very friendly ducks and other assorted waterbirds all on the look out for a free snack. And it was baking!! I think it would be best visited in later winter to spring.
