Versailles

Spending our first day in France at the Versailles.


It was huge! (and way to crowded)
Wonderful rooms with every inch of it decoreted. Paintings, beds, feathers, Bernini, Asians, mirrors, gold.

The big mirror room should have been a highlight, but all the big mirrors made it look even more crowded. Nonetheless I was stunded.

The gardens were even more impressive.
We took a nice long walk in them and hade a few stops near lakes, waterfalls, fountains or under a tree.
