Lost and found

Went to the gym, came home to find Roy had emptied the bathroom cabinets in both the bathrooms. The reason being, the one in our bathroom, the backing behind the glass had started to come away and was looking a bit manky (technical term), but he had to wait for me to come home to help him lift them down from the wall.

A few months ago he was looking for his 'round nosed trowel' he assumed it had been thrown away when he cleaned the shed out. Wrong, it was on top of the cabinet in our bathroom, he had obviously been doing some work. And left it on top of the cabinet. It just goes to proves, however, that if i cleaned the top of cabinet more often I would have found it.

On another note, we had a bbq tonight, just Glenys and Dennis, nothing fancy, sausages, chicken, bean bake and crusty bread. Dennis is under going chemo at the moment and we thought it would be a nice change for them and It's ages since I have had chance to had a proper chat with them.

I'm running round like the proverbial blue a****d fly, prepping food, cleaning the table, getting everything ready, and what is Roy doing READING, I had picked up a couple of books from the charity shop today and he had the audacity to sit and read,I soon got him shifted into gear.

Successful evening, Roy is now in bed, and I am having a large brandy.
