Delaying The Inevitable

After a good rainfall earlier in the week, now it's back to warm dry weather. A few prairie plant linger on, but in the main they look a sorry state. I liked these yellow petals caught in a sun spot. I placed them against some purples in the background. Amazing what can be pulled out of the shadows.
