Baby cuckoo

We had a great walk up the glen from the cottage, which sits above the shore of little Loch Long, near Dornie. It was a bit cloudy, which just made things a bit more dramatic. Saw lots of interesting things but, since I've never seen a cuckoo before, chose this for my blip. It was waiting for a tiny 'parent' bird to come back and feed it when it slipped a little off the post. It must have been 4 or 5 times the size of the parent bird.
