Another thatched cottage

Our village is mentioned in the Domesday Book when there were 18.4 households listed here. Not sure if this was one of them but they certainly all had thatched roofs then. The sun shone and the wind had dropped. We spent the morning in the garden. Walked in the afternoon into the village supporting a local store that sells DIY materials and is really helpful in stark contrast to the “A&R” chain that never has what you want!
