City Centre

We went into Birmingham to the Brinkley Boat Festival, set on the canals of Birmingham.. more then Venice they say
BUT… it had Bern cancelled because of the Conservative Concention being held at the ICC next to the canals.
How come I didn’t know!!!..
Anyway…we had an interesting walk around the canals, bars, eating places.. so many new ones, soaking in a lovely though very busy atmosphere .
It was good to see a vibrant side to the City..
Locks on bridges seem to be popular everywhere!
Had a lovely coffee and cake at Medicine.. one of favourite places.
Vic very rarely goes into town these days and felt he’d misssd out on 50 years!!
