Detectorist.

A large group of metal detectorists descended on the village today. They were doing a charity detecting event on one of the fields.

I had a lovely chat with a few of them and they were very keen to show me their finds. This chap allowed me to photograph his finds- the one on the bottom right ( the silver rectangular item) will be reported as potential treasure!!

It was quite fascinating talking to them.
