Holehird Gardens

The forecast was for a bright morning followed by rain this afternoon.  We decided to go to Holehird Gardens as we hadn't been for a while.  It was very quiet there and, as expected, the gardens were turning colour and becoming quite autumnal.

From here a drive to Ambleside, Skelwith Bridge (rain had started by now), Yew Tree Tarn, Coniston and Torver to Undercrag for lunch.  Very busy there, but so worth it.  Very tasty.

Not feeling great today as there are a couple of domestic issues we have to grapple with.  I am sure the gloom will lift.
