Day One

I woke before anyone else and had a relaxing hour reading and swimming.  

The Villa is beautiful but fairl6 isolated and around 25 minute drive from the nearest town.  We ventured out this evening to get more supplies and to walk around the town but it is a strange place lacking any personality.  We had a quick drink in a local bar then visited the supermarket and bought enough food for a few days.  Then it all went pear shaped as the sat nav took us a ridiculous was back seemingly through fields of pomegranates!  We stopped to pick a few but the lane got narrower and we had to do a u turn.  It was dark by now and I was feeling nervous!  However with a combination of sat nav and google maps we found our way home for a late dinner and a few glasses of wine.
