Traffic Hold-up

Yesterday and today were as different as chalk and cheese. Threw it down all day yesterday and a return of the sun today. Firstly parked in Armboth carpark near Thirlmere and walked down to the lake and back.

Intended going to a supermarket in Keswick for a few things but got involved in the is traffic hold up on the way.

As the day and light were so beautiful, I stopped in the lay-by at Legburthwaite which is just past Thirlmere dam, grabbed my camera and phone and had an explore along and old bridle way which leads up to St John’s in the Vale church. The autumn colours on High Rigg fell were stunning.

I like Herdies because they always look to be smiling so I chose this as todays photo :)
