RIP Dame Maggie Smith

Top photo is my Professor McGonagall out of a KinderJoy.
Bottom photo is my Violet Crawley necklace.

Of course I have all the Harry Potter books and the movies on VHS, Blue Ray, and iCloud. Loved Maggie as Professor McGonagall.

I remember watching the BBC series Upstairs Downstairs back in my college days and so when Downton Abbey came out, I was on it big time. Maggie was fabulous as Violet Crawley. Yes, I have the complete series & all the movies in the iCloud. A friend was quick to recognize Violet’s sarcasm as sounding so like the sarcasm I often use. When she saw the necklace she just had to get it for me.

Wish I had something to represent Jean Brodie but alas I don’t.

There won’t be anyone who can replace Maggie Smith.
