Heavy load

Up early and off to collect the rabbits, after their long stay at the kennels. Then work.

Later, a chat with MrB and TallGirl, about the complex means of getting two tiny rabbits to York. Call interrupted by an email from my sis with some sad family news.

Call to my dad, who had had the worst day.

Later, a bat in the hall had me leaving the door open to let it fly out. Of course in that three minute period a cat wandered in, which happily I found out an hour of so later when I heard miaowing. She ran away upstairs, so I opened the door and waited for her to leave. Of course in that five minute period the biggest hornet I’ve ever seen flew in and took up residence in my bedroom. It was now 12.30 so, to avoid any other creatures taking up the relay, I just hid in another bedroom and tried to sleep.

So much for getting over jet lag in one day…
