Sycamore Gap

A year today since the Sycamore Gap tree was cut down and the arrival of this print marked the occasion. It is actually a replacement for the wrong one that was sent earlier in the week, This one ('morning' rather than 'sunset' which was not the one I originally ordered) matches my recent colour change in the dining room. 

Everyone was a bit jaded today after last night and my duty day left little opportunity for pause. I was glad to get through my Y11 lesson this afternoon to mark the end of the teaching week and various meetings and calls went well. A bit of a list of things to do this weekend but catching up on sleep is a necessity.
