Cow Parsley season

It's the season where the road verges are full of Cow Parsley, a tall striking plant that occurs in swathes. It's not often appreciated but in its high season is a beacon for bees etc. Its associate is often Meadowsweet whose sweet aroma can be rather heady, all redolent of high summer.
