Changed Plans

Plans changed when the connecting bus for Hebden Bridge was cancelled. The Skipton bus was just pulling into Ilkley bus station so Elaine and l jumped on it and off we sped.
Surprised to see the market up and running, it’s often cancelled when wind is forecast.
Bought two heads of fennel ( so much cheaper than at Waitrose) and some fabulous looking scones.
Went into the EastEnd shop we always have a look in there for a bargain. Elaine bought a dress, l got a top to go with the new trouser suit, a well spent tenner.
We hadn’t planned on having lunch out but as we passed Pheobe’s ( formerly Elsworth Kitchen) l suggested we asked if they had a table for two and we were lucky .
I had the Bhudda Bowl and it was fabulous, really fresh and tasty.
We decided on some wine , also unplanned but very pleasant and it turned into a long and leisurely lunch. Will definitely return.
