Bushed!

Another big climb to miles ratio and despite it only being just over thirty miles, I was pleased when the second climb finally levelled out. I took the opportunity to pause and look back at the way up after spotting this idyllic house in the middle of nowhere. 

The first half of the route was probably my favourite, close up to striking rocky mountain sides and big vistas.  But it was another great few hours cycling. We did each others routes from yesterday and despite me saying they’d be lucky to find a cafe, they managed to fit in two! While I’ve been cycling, I’ve taken sandwiches and malt loaves so although Rich and co cycle faster than me, I’m back before them! I am looking forward to a few cafe stops now though - I think they’ll be a compulsory part of our adventure! 

Had a van sort, done a big wash and generally made it look like I haven’t taken ownership of the whole van!
