Manic

Today was supposed to be a quiet day. It was anything but.

All hell seems to have broken loose today and I was getting email requests and phone calls from everywhere. What on earth!

I was also online queuing for tickets and then our IT team decided to force a shutdown on my laptop, which meant I lost my place in the queue and any chances of getting any tickets. 

Had to help my young padawan with her masters as well, which we sorted by the end of the day that met her university's deadline. She can relax this weekend now for her birthday.

I am looking for a peaceful night.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Catching up with my young padawan
2.  Delicious fish and chips for tea
