Still can't quite believe my parkrun time this morning - I knocked 41 secs off my PB! My knees were sore when I got up but seemed better with moving so I decided I'd go and see how I got on and I when I saw the time on my watch I was amazed - though waited until the official confirmation before celebrating.
It was much cooler, so good for running, but the sun came out later.
After that exercise we decided on a hill walk and headed up beyond Kirriemuir to a small glen where there was still mist on the hills. It gradually lifted as we climbed and we had a lovely walk over hills with the wonderful names of Dog Hillock, Meg Swerie (with Potty Leadnar just to the north) Finbracks and Manywee in constant sunshine and a pleasant breeze.
Unfortunately the views from above were rather hazy but this shows the round we did.
