Kowhai blooming profusely …..

….. ….. ….. along the north side of Lake Hayes this morning. Yes! It was sunny and although wind was chilly it was ok.
I was delighted to see these Kowhai bushes growing.
I hope that blipper kiwianna sees it as she loves this part of the country.

I met up with my daughter & son-in-law plus Hazel & Cora - my two great granddaughters - at the Arrowtown Spring Flower Show and loved looking at all the flower exhibits, embroidery, sewing, knitting, children’s items & photography. My daughter had 3 awards with her beautiful daffodils, as did another friend. I did enter some photos but had misunderstood the entry instructions so no joy there. I’m still happy with the photos regardless - just a silly mistake. It’s a marvellous Show, and there were lots of folk there. It was lovely.
