A Quick Morning Walk

The first week of my annual leave is coming to a close but I’m still not quite halfway through. Very changeable weather over the last couple of days… after yesterday’s warm start the rains came in later in the day and carried on overnight. This morning, it started off cloudy, but during the school run we had some spells of sunshine. I visited this little area of woodland near Waldershare Park on the way home. There’s a little trail that forms part of the North Downs Way, and I took the opportunity for a quick morning stroll. Now and then the sun would break through the clouds and illuminate the trees in golden light – perfect for today’s photograph.
