My day

Flower Friday

These euphorbias make a nice display. Some are growing in a pot and more in the cracks in the cement.

We have just delivered the zucchini slice to Miss Traill’s House where they are having an evening garden party for the visiting National Trust members from Sydney. Unfortunately it’s cold with a wind blowing off the high country where it has been snowing. I’m pleased I didn’t volunteer for the evening shift. Whatever coats they bring I can guarantee they will be cold.

We were going to mind the kids but they have stayed at home. N and S have gone to the opening of the Calleen Art Exhibition in Cowra this evening. Spencer has had an art work accepted which is great, the competition is of high standards. The kids are teenagers so will be able to look after themselves with us as backup if needed.

We had another gloomy day but I think the sun is returning tomorrow.
