Rhododendrons are my top spring shurb.  When I moved here I left a garden of thirty years and it's mature rhodos.  I have had some set backs trying to grow them here mostly because of the droughts but finally this one is 75 cm high and covered in buds.  It is Bruce Brechbill and was looking lovely in the morning sun.
This morning I had a long phone conversation with our son.  He was working from home and sometimes there was a clatter of keys as he replied to something.  The Government would like workers to return to the city but I don't think one day working from home will hurt.  He mentioned Finn isn't eating a varied diet and likes to negotiate what he will eat. " I will try that at Christmas "  " I did like it but I don't want it today"  I didn't say he sounds just like you.
Street drinks tonight at No 11 and I will make asparagus rolls with asparagus from the garden.  Happy weekend to all.
