Thursday Meetup.

While I was waiting for a couple of former teaching colleagues to show up for lunch today, this guy showed. He looked by his walk that he may have had a stroke at some point. When he reached the bar, ordered whatever he was having, the music on the stereo played “Wipeout,” by the Surfaris. Everyone knows “Wipeout.” This guy was shaking it, grooving his socks off. Loved it. I really liked the music playing loudly, as it drowned out the AWFUL Fox News they had playing on the TV. Truly awful lies.
