Herod Atticus Theatre concert

Back in Athens, we went to a wonderful concert in this ancient theatre.. The Greek composer Minos Matsas and a mixed nationality group of musicians and singers presented a mix of Greek Rembetika, Portuguese Fado, Argentinian Tango, and American blues songs, highlighting the parallels between these four types of music, which all emerged from underclasses of poor, oppressed marginals expressing their frustrations and passion.
