Attempted Still Life

Have you ever bought something like a vase with a view to photographic it? 3 years later I'm trying. I've just borrowed a large daisy from my friends garden and I'm trying to create the classic side view of vase and drooping flower - except the flower refuses to droop!!

I don't have studio lights so this is lit by a single desk lamp to the left side with white boards all around.

Not brilliant but it is the first go.
