Grey Day

The autumnal vibe continues, as it was pretty cool and very grey today.  I was glad the heating was on in the office.  It wasn’t very high, but it at least took the chill off the building.  Quite a few colleagues were in the office today, as we had a visitor and we all got to spend some time with her.

I popped out at lunchtime and decided to try and do a little bit of shopping but failed.  I couldn’t’ find what I was looking for.  I may have to check online.

Work has felt particularly busy and demanding today.  There is far too much going on, and everyone is feeling the pressure.  I ended up working a bit later than I wanted to, which meant I was on a later bus, which turned up very late.  I was freezing standing at the bus stop waiting on it.  .

I was pleased to get home for warmth and food.  BB messaged to say that he felt rather overwhelmed today.  His lectures started today and he had three which I think were pretty much back to back.  He did manage to go to his first University rugby training session, so hopefully that will have been good for the stress of day 1.

Later I had to do a bit of work to prep for tomorrow.

Not much in the way of blips today, but this is the Old Royal High School looking very grey on a very grey Edinburgh morning.
