A Memento

We said goodbye to Meg, the Welsh cob L used to ride, just over two weeks ago.  On the day we were in two minds whether to ask her owner if we could have some of Meg's tail hair. I'm glad we did because this is the result, a bracelet made from the hair, to remember her by.  Not just one but two bracelets and L is seeing J tomorrow and will give her this gift with our love.

We saw many examples of bracelets using horse hair.  Some were incredibly expensive at hundreds of pounds, but this was from a creative on Etsy and was very reasonably priced.  So pleased they both have a memento.
