We went for our WI Monthly lunch today at Farfield Mill. It was a last minute plan, we decided on the venue yesterday. Six intrepid members went - it was pouring with rain so we were pleased to be inside. A variety of meals were ordered, and a lot of chat! We then had a walk around the new exhibitions. The one in my blip was the Encyclopaedia of Women. The series of quilts of women, the artist calls them Art Textiles, is quite spectacular. You can see one with two parrots in extras. There were also some very good Lino cut prints.
