We traveled home from visiting our friends in St Albans this morning so that we could go on a tour of the Amazon Distribution Centre in Swindon. One of our friends had booked it for us all. It was absolutely fascinating- three hundred thousand items are picked and packed per day on an average day…. More on a Prime Day and at Christmas….Astonishing….


I then went to a talk by Philip Dearden about his grandfather, the artist Harold Dearden. I know Philip as we have worked together on the Unlocking Collections project. He gave a brilliant presentation.
