On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

OH MY GOD YOU'VE GOT A PINK COFFEE CUP

This was Briar. She is often excitable when she sees me. It is one of her most endearing traits.

But this was a new one.

The reason for her excitement was that she was wearing pink trousers. "On Wednesdays we wear pink," she told me. 

"This is from 'Mean Girls'," she went on.

I invited her out for a smoothie later that day but she was too busy. She mimed a tear, so I forgave her. 

I got myself a smoothie anyway and told Nenita the Test Team Lady about it. 

"You went to see a MOOOVIE???" she asked, astonished. 

I clarified. "Ohhhhh I thought you meant you saw a MOOOOVIE," she giggled. 

So I did what I do. I set up a Project Team Movie Night and told everyone it was Nenita's idea. "She's making me do this, she twisted my arm," I said. 

I encouraged voting. There was a lot of musical talk. "High School Musical", "The Sound of Music" and the inevitable "Grease". 

But guess what is currently leading the polling.

Mean Girls.
