Hospital appointments

I had an ENT appointment for 14:02 and an ultrasound scan for 15:40. I was out of ENT in good time and would have had a long wait for the scan so planned to clear off and come back - this was  a nuisance but better than hanging around in the hospital for more than an hour. However, I thought I'd see if they could fit me in earlier (didn't expect it but thought it was worth asking). They couldn't. Therefore I rang Terry to pick me up and went to get my ENT prescription at Boots (they did not stock it so I have to go back tomorrow) then adjourned to the nearby Costa coffee before returning for my scan. The lady doing the scan said it was a bursa on my knee so I was right when I thought it was "housemaids knee"!
The ENT guy stuck the camera up both nostrils and it's not pleasant but I've had a lot worse! He was very good. He said he was considering cautery but I've not had another bloodbath nosebleed since June so he thinks it's best not to do that. He prescribed me an antibiotic cream for 6 weeks then will see me again. I've had the same cream before and had no nosebleeds while using it.
I'm still not keen to restart the daily aspirin as I feel it might be tempting the nose to bleed again - don't like blood gushing out of my nose and down my throat and ending up in hospital! He said the arteries on the septum are very near the surface and a lot of them!
It's chucked down today, again! Another washout of a day.
Sorted my insurance for the new car but breakdown cover can't be transferred yet as the new reg is not coming up at present. I was pleased that the changeover didn't cost much at all. Must remember to claim some road tax back.
My daughter rang me to say she has bought a box tent for the top of her car. It's for 5 people!!!!! Sooner her than me!
