Stormy Weather!

Dark, dark, dark skies... blowy, blustery, breezy winds...heavy, torrential, persistent rain...

... however, not quite as wet as I could've been on my evening stroll and certainly drier than yesterday on two wheels!

A funny nugget from the classroom today;

The history topic in my class is Ancient Egypt and we have been thinking specifically about the process of mummification this afternoon. We were writing instructions so we did lots of verbal retelling of the process before writing it all down.

One part of the process was to wrap the body in linen and place amulets between the layers...only this became place omelette in the bandages!!

Oh how I chuckled, and we then giggled together about how an egg would've made a terrible smell as time ticked on!!
