Wind, rain, and autumn leaves
It was very windy overnight and during the day today - so much so that the grass of our lawn is barely visible under all the leaf litter. After the rain cleared at lunchtime, the wind was very useful for drying our five loads of Thursday washing.
I haven't ventured far today - only to the supermarkets this morning, and then out for a run just before lunch.
Over the course of the day I watched* an auction online, looking out for six items of ours that were going under the hammer. It was an interesting experience, especially when I witnessed a picture with an estimate of between £800 and £1200 sell for £7000! Unfortunately, this was not one of ours :-(
We watched the first episode of Ludwig last night and feel sufficiently interested to see some more this evening.
For a change, Mr hazelh beat me at Azul today.
*The screen showed the auctioneer with full sound, and to the right of the screen you could see the bids come in. Had I registered online, I could have bid for items myself (and Mr hazelh would have been very, very cross!!!)
Exercise today: 5k run; walking (15,553 steps including run).
