Well it was Mrs C’s birthday today.

It was lovely to see all the birthday cards she received from friends she has made since moving from London to Warwick.

Her main birthday treat was lunch in a restaurant in Lichfield. Well it was no ordinary restaurant. I had to book up last December to get a table for lunch and it was full today. Tom Shepherd the owner and Chef holds a Michelin star for his restaurant and has won numerous other awards including The Great British Menu.

The food was memorable and a great way to celebrate Mrs C’s birthday.

My blip is of the kitchen after service had finished.

Celebrations continue this weekend when we meet up in Somerset with our Son and our eldest and youngest granddaughters.
