Pilar

Smile, please

Today we finally went for a walk to the city centre. I love going to the market and Pedro was feeling well enough to take this walk.
We bought some tuna and shrimp at this fish stall
While we were resting for a while I took this photo.
The two people with the camera near the fish stall were journalists from South Korean television and they were making a programme about the Granada Market.

Later, at the pickle stall, while I was buying a tub of cornezuelo olives (see note), the girl asked me how I usually eat olives: - Always pickled? - Of course, you can't eat them raw - I said. The girl asked me what my name was and how old I was. I told her with my best smile: - My name is Pilar and I am very old!

Cornezuelo olives are a type of olive that are not used for oil, only for eating. They are delicious but a bit strong in their seasoning. If you are not used to them you may even find them too bitter, but I love them!

The extra photo is from a square in Granada that has been recently replanted. .
