Romeo and Juliet

No, not the two in the image.

I was on my way to the Shakespeare North Playhouse to see a production directed by Jenny Sealey, Artistic Director of Graeae, and in association with Theatre by the Lake. The company promotes deaf, disabled and neurodivergent talent. I did have my concerns beforehand that it would all feel a bit uncomfortable, but I needn’t have worried. It was a good production, and approached in a clever way, I enjoyed it (shame about the ending of course :-) )

I took the photo in Prescot town centre, just around the corner from the Playhouse. I love the use of photos of activity in the surrounding streets to brighten up a derelict building. A close up of the right hand panel as an extra - just great images.
