Gatekeeper

After spending much of the day wrestling with self-assembly furniture, I decided on an hour's wander in the lanes nearby. There is a very attractive sunken lane running below our house, and as it it sheltered, despite the cooler and breezy conditions today there were plenty of butterflies patrolling, mainly small tortoiseshell, but I did spot this gatekeeper.
