Wide Wednesday challenge is Sharp so this might work, how about it Claire? Sharp road marker knocked over, sharp edges of overpass, and sharp decrease in movement?

I took my daughter to the airport this morning. On the way home I stopped at a store across the freeway and when I tried to enter the freeway from the East the traffic stopped...completely stopped...for 45 minutes I was stuck on the on-ramp. Cars in the right lane on the freeway turned around and traveled the wrong way back to the exit, I might have done the same thing if I could have done it safely. There was an open road ahead of the police car halting progress on the freeway; the backup was a mystery. Eventually, the police car moved and we could go...but just as we entered the freeway the skies opened and the rain came down in buckets all the way home...scary! It was a slow go but I safely arrived home.
