Sweet Cicely

When I first came across this I didn't realise the black shiny seeds had to split open to germinate. Now it does its own thing all over the garden! The seeds taste like aniseed. It has spectacularly long roots, so it's good in a drought, and early, foaming white flower heads. A lovely plant.
