Progress

With nothing else left with which to distract myself, and having bought lunch to eat in my office, I finally started the big programming task. I worked solidly through the afternoon and, as happens when you look at old code, found other things to neaten up. Afterwards I felt good: not for what I'd achieved, but because I had finally started.

In the evening I went for dinner at the flat of Magi and Rowan, where we chatted about AI threats, Blip and the merits of Berlin whilst enjoying a traditional Swabian dish.
