Light and shadows

I was with the ES guys this morning, then back home for some Chaplaincy studying. 
This afternoon I was up at the hospital with Stuart. Later on in the evening I was back again. He's coming to the end of his life and doesn't want to be alone. Adrian came and took over from me. It did mean I missed the chaplaincy zoom tonight, but this was clearly the priority. 
After the afternoon stint I went up a floor and visited the friend who lives on the streets. Lovely to see her, and looking so well, all things considered. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The privilege of spending this time with Stuart. 
2) Nate making us a lovely card. 
3) One of the chaplains from my course sending through some beautiful prayers...
