Berry Good

We have six winterberry bushes; of those four are female, two are male. The females are strutting their stuff this fall, loaded with red berries. Woodpeckers, waxwings, dear deer and squirrels will be pleased with their offerings • Gary, our landscape helper, stopped by to see what we want done. If the weather cooperates he’ll get started on Friday! • He’s also our plow-guy and after more than 40 years he’s decided not to provide plowing services effective this winter. Yikes, hopefully we can find a replacement • The best news of all - rain!! A few sprinkles this afternoon, but rain is expected overnight through most of tomorrow. It won’t be enough but we’ll take it • Hope you’re enjoying your day!
