Visiting Derby: The Museum of Making

A good B and B near the city with a cooked breakfast to ‘put us on’.  We drove into the city to visit the museum, well worth a visit showing all that Derby has to offer since the Industrial Revolution. There is plenty to see, I will be lazy and also post the information for the post box, water pipe and ticket machine and very old log boat. 

We are now in Cheltenham visiting a friend for a few days. Our reason for visiting the town was to dog sit for my sister and B in L who were off to a wedding over the weekend.  Sadly my poor B in L who has under gone cancer treatment for the last 15 months has Covid, their plans have been cancelled and we cannot visit. Fortunately our friend can let us stay, she isn’t too far from my sister should she need help.
