The Young Ones

Almost all these young calves had spotted me and Ivy as we walked down to Northleach this morning.  It's been an odd sort of day as Scottish and Southern Electricity have been cutting down trees and branches which were apparently interfering with their overhead cables around the village and we have been without power from 8.45am until 4.30pm.  We knew it was happening but it makes one realise how much we rely on electricity these days.  Still, it was good to sit quietly this afternoon and read my book!  Out this evening to camera club in Northleach and, for a change, it's raining again.
