Narrow boat holiday - Day 3

We continued along the canal up to bridge 53 where there is a winding hole to turn the boat around. There are the remains of a medieval Motte and Bailey Castle there. (See extra). This morning the weather was beautiful. After lunch we took the dogs for a walk down to a mini aqueduct. We got back to the boat just in time as the rain just started.
