Crop

This it it for 2024. Last year I couldn't keep up with the apples. This year - three. They look good but I would have enjoyed a few more. Maybe next year will see a return to the usual abundance. 

I missed a lot of blip yesterday. I had very sad news from one of my dear friends. Her husband died yesterday morning. Not unexpectedly, and from all accounts peacefully,  but it is a body blow to her. I was in Glasgow when I heard the news and I wasn't home till later. 

I chatted to my friend this morning and she was being stoical. I'll catch up with her again later in the week. On a happier note I also spoke to my niece in the Netherlands which was just what I needed. Later today I'll be off to collect the girls from school. I'll go by train and take Flora. Cameraman is away to Birmingham for a few days.
