On The Water

A beautiful sunny day, the long range forecast tells us we don’t have many left, gave us the opportunity to test the clubs latest acquisition, the four oared skiff.
Much lighter than the gigs it’s easier to move around on land, on the water nowhere near as unstable as we had been led to believe.
A different rowing technique but we quickly got the hang of it.

Home for a coffee before heading back down to the boatyard to cox the evening club row, again in glorious weather.
A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend the day.
